About

Jack Bacon, ISA AM is a longtime resident of Reno, Nevada with over 40 years of experience as an autograph and rare book specialist, art gallerist, consultant and appraiser. Jack was guest curator of two major exhibitions at the Nevada Museum of Art, the first, celebrating the legacy German-born Nevada artist Hans Meyer-Kassel and the second, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Latimer Art Club with all it’s ties to California watercolorist Lorenzo Latimer. Jack also published two major books to accompany the exhibitions in association with the Nevada Museum of Art. A third exhibition and book is currently in the works.

Appraisal and Authentication Experience

Lord John Press publishing archives, including correspondence and manuscripts of Ray Bradbury, Eudora Welty, Stephen King, Robert Bloch, John Updike and Gerald R. Ford; The Theodore Charach archives on the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy; Robert Stroud (Bird Man of Alcatraz) correspondence and prison cell contents; The H.
