Tania Poggione is a Montreal-Ottawa based art consultant and appraiser. She brings to her practice 20 years’ experience at the highest level of the Canadian and international fine art market offering private clients and institutions a unique and seasoned approach to art consultancy and advisory.

From 2005 to 2024, she served as Director and Senior Specialist for Heffel, Canada's leading fine art auction house, while garnering an unparalleled in-depth level of expertise and knowledge in all areas of the art business. In addition to securing multi-million dollars’ worth in artwork consignment and sales, she was responsible for the valuation and appraisal of private, public and corporate collections and became one of the firm’s most trusted advisors.

Tania holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical and Ancient Studies from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in Montreal. She is a Member of the International Society of Appraisers having completed the ISA Core Course in Appraisal Studies and being educated in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)
