Lead Appraiser, Motleys Asset Disposition Group, Richmond, Virginia.

 

Bill conducts inventories, research, and analyses of tangible personal property appraisals for fiduciaries, attorneys, institutions, insurers and individuals.  Clients have included both in-state and out-of-state clients, as well as the United States National Park Service and United States Marshals Service.  Appraisal services have included individual objects with values in excess of $1,000,000 and as esteemed as General Robert E. Lee's gauntlets, explorer William Clark's telescope, and autographed letters from Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, while serving as President.

 

Bill is regularly called to provide appraisal services in Richmond, VA and beyond. For example, Bill has provided appraisal services in Tidewater Virginia; Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.; Western Virginia; together with North and South Carolinia.

  

Consultant to Collectors and Museums: Bill serves as one of two principals in Perry Adams Antiques, Petersburg, Virginia.  Object acquisition services have been provided to domestic and international clients, as well as institutions such as the U.S. Army Museum system, the Virginia Military Institute Museum system, the Virginia Historical Society, the Valentine Richmond History Center, Tryon Palace in New Bern, North Carolina, Pamplin Historical Park and Museum of the Civil War Soldier, the Schenectady County Historical Society in Schenectady, New York, and Washington and Lee University.
