About

Rochi Llaneza is an Acredited Member (AM ISA) of the International Society of Appraisers with a specialty in Fine Arts, living in Miami, Florida. She is qualified to appraise general personal property ranging from furnishings to decorative arts and many varied types of personal property.  Ms Llaneza is also qualified to appraise fine art including paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, photography, etc. 

Llaneza has conducted appraisal assignments, among others in the USA, Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, the Caribbean.

Born in Cuba, Llaneza immigrates to the USA, and lives in different countries but settled her younger and adolescent years in Dominican Republic.

Here she earned a Bachelors Degree in Business from the Pontific Catholic University. In 1984 she moves permanently to Miami where she completes a Visual Art (BFA) and Art History degree from FIU. For the past 40 years Llaneza has been involved in the Contemporary Art world. After ending her tenure of 8 years in mid 2013 as Executive Director of Hardcore Art Contemporary Space (in the Wynwood Arts District); Curator of MAC Galleries in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for 3 years and from 2018-2019 manager of Spanierman Modern Miami, Rochi is independently acting as an art advisor, art appraiser and Art Specialist Lecturer at Framingham University, Boston, Massachusetts.

She was involved in the creation of organizations as Wynwood Association, Women of Wynwood and Miami Art Dealers Association; as well as spearheading the MASS District in Ft. Lauderdale in 2015.

Presently she is part of ArtTable, Inc. Florida Chapter Leadership; Member of the Board of UN Women USA, Miami Chapter; Fiber Artists Miami Association; Acredited Member (AM ISA) of the International Society of Appraisers and USPAP compliant.
