She has completed the Core Course in Appraisal Studies and the Appraising Fine Art Specialty Course through the International Society of Appraisers, as well as the 15 hour and 7 hour update courses in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice through the Appraisal Foundation. She has experience with valuing the content of large estates in addition to small collections and single items, and can prepare appraisals for a range of functions including non-cash charitable deduction, insurance replacement, equitable distribution, personal planning and estate evaluation for tax purposes.

Anastasia's specialty is Modern to Contemporary fine art including but not limited to paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures and photography. She earned her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Studio Art with a minor in Art History from Stetson University, and was awarded a scholarship in 2021 from the Foundation for Appraisal Education for the furthering of her fine art education. Although her specialty is in fine art, Anastasia regularly performs appraisals on all sorts of items, including but not limited to antique china and silver, decorative art and objects, antique and vintage furniture, lighting, collectibles, and general household goods.

Through her decade and a half employment with one of the largest art dealers and gallerists in the Western US Anastasia has extensive primary and secondary market knowledge of many forms of 20th and 21st Century artworks. Through appraising and education she also has experience with older artwork and objects from around the world. Anastasia has also advised and assisted private collectors as well as interior designers and brokers with sales and acquisitions. While in Florida Anastasia interned at the Southeast Museum of Photography in Daytona Beach and volunteered at the DeLand Museum of Art, where she cataloged artwork and assisted with travelling exhibitions.

Please contact Anastasia today (preferably by email) to see how she can help with your appraisal needs!
