My  education includes undergraduate and graduate studies in interior design.   I opened an interior design studio before graduating college and have owned  five antique stores and art galleries specializing in the sale of 18th and 19th century furnishings and 19th and 20th century art and decorative accessories. I also operated a pottery studio with the largest kiln operated by an individual in Virginia. I was the recipient of many awards for my work as a ceramist. I have had a full time appraisal practice for more than 25 years.  Moving to Florida in 2005, much of my work involves Estates, Insurance and Donation.  Appraising a family estate can be a  challenge for anyone and especially for those trying to accomplish it from a distance.  I  enjoy working with families living out of state and enjoy helping them to coordinate the tasks associated with appraising, donating and settling estates.  I proudly served on the Board Of Directors of ISA.  www.marianaubryappraisals.com
