About
With his wife, Anne, Bill is co-owner of Black Earth Gallery Art Consulting and Stamats Art Appraisals. As an artist, Bill has firsthand knowledge of fine art printmaking, drawing, painting, and papermaking. From a printmaking perspective, Bill has done work using the following techniques:
Bill earned a BFA from Pratt Institute, an MA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MFA from the University of Iowa. Bill is an active member in his art community with 20 years on the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art Board of Directors and six years as Chairman of the Visual Arts Commission for the city of Cedar Rapids.
