Barbara is an appraiser specializing in fine art, antiques and residential contents, fine jewelry, jade, and estate management.

She is a Graduate Gemologist and has been an appraiser of fine jewelry since 1978. Areas of specilization are diamonds, colored gemstones, carvings, vintage and antique jewelry pieces, and all periods of silver, including silver flatware, serving pieces, and decor.  

She has also passed the Appraising in the World of High-Net-Worth Individuals webinar series through ISA.

Barbara will broker for individuals representing estates or other needs to bring clients the best price for their pieces, art, jewelry or otherwise.  

Her clients include individuals, attorneys, bank trust officers, estate executors, museums and other appraisers and jewelers.

Barbara appraises independently in the greater Portland area which includes fine art, antiques and household contents, and fine jewelry. She has successfully passed the ISA Core Course, Fine Art Appraisal, and Antiques, and is USPAP compliant through ISA.
