Membership Reinstatement Policy

MEMBER REINSTATEMENT POLICY

Effective April 28, 2024

Members who have left the ISA rolls for any reason may inquire about having their membership reinstated. Each petition for reinstatement will be reviewed independently.

Former members who cannot prove at least 30 hours of college credit from an accredited institution are NOT eligible for reinstatement.

Upon approval, at a minimum, the returning member must pay any dues for the current year, prorated by quarter, plus the published reinstatement fee.

Members whose previous Requalification deadline passed when the person was no longer a member, but less than 5 years ago, must take the Requalification course within six months of reinstatement.

If the Requalification deadline passed 5 years or more ago, the membership process must start from the beginning, including retaking the Core Course and the 15 HR USPAP.
