USPAP
Build Your Foundation in Appraising Ethics and Standards
USPAP is promulgated by The Appraisal Foundation and is one of the cornerstones of ISAs credentialing process. ISA requires that its members stay current with the guidelines for ethical and competent appraisal performance as outlined in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, or USPAP.
Anyone is welcome to take the Personal Property USPAP course through ISA. To become an ISA member, appraisers must first complete the 15-Hour USPAP course. Once completed, members must complete the 7-Hour USPAP course every two calendar years thereafter.

Along with the Core Course, those starting out on the ISA credentialing pathway must complete the 15-Hour Personal Property USPAP course to qualify for ISA member-level status. ISA members, if you are unsure of when you last completed USPAP, simply log in to your member profile and view the Credentialing Requirements section under the Edit Profile link. If you choose to take the personal property USPAP course with a different organization, please confirm with ISA that this is an approved provider before registering for the course. ISA does not accept the real estate version of USPAP.
Please note if you are an appraiser of Real Estate, you are not eligible to complete USPAP through ISA.
