USPAP Courses

Build Your Foundation in Appraising Ethics and Standards

ISA requires that its members stay current with the guidelines for ethical and competent appraisal performance as outlined in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, or USPAP.

To become an ISA member, appraisers must first complete the 15-Hour USPAP course. Once completed, members must complete the 7-Hour USPAP course each subsequent, two-year USPAP cycle. USPAP cycles begin with the even year number. It is the responsibility of the ISA member to ensure they are current with USPAP.

ISA members, if you are unsure of when you last completed USPAP, simply log in to your member profile and view the Manage My Profile section under Credentialing Requirements.

Please note that if you choose to take the personal property USPAP course with a different organization, please confirm with ISA that this is an approved provider before registering for the course. ISA does not accept the real estate version of USPAP.
